Why join CHCWA?

Individual community housing providers comprise a diversity of organisations however there are common issues that affect the sector as a whole. These issues require a united voice and individual providers can make a difference to the shaping of the political and social landscape collectively through CHCWA membership. CHCWA is not only a strong voice for the sector but also a platform for discussion of policy direction and best practice.

Membership

CHCWA membership also provides the opportunity to improve an organisation's operating environment through input into positions, policies and practices.

CHCWA then uses that input to make representations to politicians, government departments, media, special interest groups and other stakeholders to ensure members' concerns are heard and addressed.

Through our Best Practice Unit, CHCWA provides a range of professional development initiatives with regular training relevant to the community housing sector.
