National Rental Affordability Scheme Released
The Federal Housing Minister, Tanya Plibersek, released the National Rental Affordability Scheme at the HIA National Conference. The Government is seeking submissions and comments on the scheme by May 31, 2008, to assist in settling the administrative design features of the National Rental Affordability Scheme. Please forward your comments on the scheme to Colin McClughan, Executive Officer at CHCWA, to have them incorporated in CHCWA's submission. The Government will consider all submissions and comments and may adjust the administrative design prior to calling for Expressions of Interests in the Scheme.A copy of the paper is available in the Hot Issues section of the members area.
