Nominations for the WA Youth Awards are now open.
The seven award categories cover a range of fields including the arts, education, the environment, community service and sport and recreation. Entries close 5.00pm on Friday 22 February 2013.
This short film was commissioned by The Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia (http://www NULL.yacwa NULL.org NULL.au) to draw attention to youth homelessness issue and shed light on some of the experiences of young homeless people in WA. According to the ABS, every night in WA 6000 young people are homeless.
First screened on Youth Homelessness Matters Day, it features young people who have been, or are currently, affected by homelessness, as well as youth workers.
