Karen Walsh, Region Director Northern Territory

Karen is the CEO of Venture Housing and her 30 year career includes executive roles in NSW and NT in NGOs and Government, leading strategy, housing reform and service and program design. As GM at SGCH for 7 years, led service delivery, asset portfolio management, business growth and innovation. Karen was the Registrar of Community Housing, NT for 9 months in 20212/21.

Karen has a Masters Degrees in Social Policy (2001) and an Executive Masters, Public Administration, is a GAICD and an Honorary Associate of the UTS Institute of Public Policy and Governance. Karen has served as a non-executive Director of many not-for profit Boards, including national peak and industry bodies and community housing providers.
