Leonie King, National Director

Leonie is the CEO of City West Housing. City West Housing is a Tier 1 Community Housing Provider operating in the inner city of Sydney. CWH owns and manages 900 apartments in medium density developments in the City of Sydney Local Government Area.

Leonie has been on the board of CHIA since 2017, and previously held the role of Vice Chair of the NSW Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA NSW). For the past six years Leonie has been nominated by CHIA NSW to the position of Region Director- NSW on the Board of CHIA National.

She has more than 25 years experience in social, affordable and disability housing, including a long career in senior executive roles working for the NSW Government.

Leonie has championed the delivery of social and affordable housing and has been involved in a number of significant reforms that have developed the capacity of the community housing industry both in NSW and nationally.
