HousingFirst is an award winning, independent, Not for Profit organisation with a proud history of providing social and affordable housing solutions for people on low to moderate incomes across metropolitan Melbourne for over 30 years.

They have recently entered an exciting new phase with the expansion of their property portfolio, currently managing over 1200 properties with a pipeline of 500 additional properties and strategic plans for future growth to ensure they are an integral part of the social housing system now and in the future in Melbourne.

To support this continued growth, they have an exciting, permanent opportunity for an experienced Coordinator, Housing Services to join their team and be a key part of their future success story.

Reporting to the General Manager, Housing Services you will be responsible for leading and managing a team to deliver high quality housing management and customer services, ensuring that Housing Services are effectively and efficiently carried out to meet the needs of staff, tenants and applicants in an inclusive and respectful manner.

The successful candidate will be a proven leader with demonstrated experience in a housing leadership role with exceptional relationship management and service delivery skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a key focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

You will be inspirational and motivated with passion for social justice and supporting people and communities to reach their full potential with the commitment to work collaboratively, whilst supporting and empowering your team to continue to operate and deliver within best practice principles as well as regulatory and contractual requirements.

In addition, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and hold a tertiary qualification in a related field, along with a proven track record working at this level within a service delivery and improvement environment, preferably within Community Housing or the broader Not for Profit sector.
