CHIA is working with other state and territory peak organisations to lead the revitalisation of the National Community Housing Standards. The revitalisation will take place over a number of years and standards will be developed on a modular basis.

CHIA is currently working on the following standards and resources:

• Veterans Toolkit
• DFV- How we respond to people experiencing domestic and family violence

Other standards that may, subject to funding, be resourced are:

• The services we offer to people with disability or with complex conditions
• Ensuring that older people can if they wish ‘age in place’
• Provide culturally appropriate services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
