HR Officer

Located in the beautiful region of Northern NSW, Northern Rivers Housing (NRH) has been providing community housing in northern New South Wales since 1984. We manage close to 1,000 social and affordable properties from our offices in Lismore, Grafton and Tweed Heads. We believe that everyone has the right to live in safe, comfortable and affordable housing.

About the role

In April 2022, the NSW Government announced the establishment of temporary housing sites to accommodate the urgent housing needs emerging from the February 2022 storms and floods in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

NRH has been contracted by the NSW Government to deliver tenancy management and site maintenance of 7 Villages across the Region. The homes in the Villages can house between one individual to families and are supplemented by supporting infrastructure and amenities. Ultimately the objectives of the program delivered by NRH, is to support residents achieve their longer-term housing goals.

The HR Officer will deliver HR activities in every aspect of the employment process, including recruitment, selection, orientation and learning, development and training for staff members of the Community Villages.
